Film-'A Wednesday'

The Hindi film 'A Wednesday' is a courageous film showing a novel way for a common intelligent man to fight terrorism. A common man with the technical knowhow, intelligence follows the same methods to get the 4 dangerous terrorists released from the jail but only to blast them. If terrorists can plan and execute bomb blasts to spread terror among the common man, a common man can also do the same to terrorise the terrorists. The theme is one of the solutions. One can look into it from another angle to thwart the terrorists. As a illustration, take a group of terrorists which belong to a particular community and kill innocent people of another community through frequent bomb blasts. It is obvious that the terrorist are a miniscule minority and the majority of the community to which the terrorists belong, are believers in peacefull coexistence. Common people can take the benefit of fact that the terrorists do not want to kill the people of their own community, not out of love but out of their own ned, their own frustrations, lack of confidence. So in all the functions the community should offer themselves to mix and disperse themselves with the victim communities so that any bomb blasts will injure and kill them also alongwith the victim community people. The terrorists can not afford this. The verbal counter propaganda will not affect the terrorists but when people of their community lay their lives on line for death, it is bound to affect the terrorists activities. A film can be made to look in to this angle also.
